Sergio Lanza

Born in Spain and raised between Madrid and Buenos Aires, Sergio Lanza is a half-Argentinian half-Spanish actor, director and producer with a career spanning 20 years and 3 continents.

Sergio began his acting studies in Madrid with Juan Carlos Corazza, famous coach and teacher of Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz. He later continued his training in New York, Buenos Aires and Los Angeles. He’s done films, TV and theater all around the world, with a special focus on education and always searching for new ways of getting stories that matter to people who can learn from them.

He has directed a documentary about Yoga and the relationship between Westerners and Eastern philosophies. He produced and directed the campaign that helped Spain’s Carlos III University win the acclaimed European Excellency Campus denomination. As an actor he was part of the first totally accessible play ever made in Spain - marking the first time that many hearing impaired and blind individuals had ever been to the theater. Also as an actor, he was one of the key players in Spain’s Microtheater revolution that has since expanded all over the world and even brought him to the United States. This first Microtheater event in the US granted Sergio a Certificate of Merit from The City of Miami.

He has recently established himself in Los Angeles, CA where he continues to break barriers.
